Battery is draining fast.

Hi! I had the S24 Ultra just last sunday.

I don't know why the battery was draining fast. Is this because of the battery protection setting?

 I charged my phone today, it was also off, and since I turned on my battery protection at maximum so my battery is only charging until 80%. After I reached 80%, I turned it on and didn't use it for around 10 minutes probably. And then when I checked it, the batt was at 78% already. The data was even off. And I was not really using it.

And currently, as I was typing this, with my data on, it became 77%, now at 76% in the span of only 5 minutes. Power saving is also on.

me too I was playing rec room For 1.5 hours it my battery draining so fast I dunno I turned on power saving mode and continued play Was draining fast again and again.. i'm samsung a53

Maybe

1. Over use
2. Old battery
3. Need power bank
4. Many apps working in phone

Wait for the big update, battery issues are included. If same after update, better consult in samsung service center.

Something may be running in the background. But those 1% increments appear normal if you have settings that use power. I'd just let it be. I always charge to 100%. Sometimes going down to 19% or lower.

A lot of apps running in background, i also read that live wallpapers also take a bit of battery life(maybe), screen brightness (auto brightness off), etc.. but to make sure just back up all your files and do a factory reset
