Planning to have a replacement from a nearby samsung service center po kasi ako.

Go directly to service center, they can assess your phone and give quotation prior to replacement. Doing by yourself is not a wise choice.

Nah there's a lot of tutorials readily available on the internet. Even samsung themselves posted a tutorial on how to replace each part. They made their hardware in a way that it'll be easy for anyone to repair it themselves. Them posting tutorials on how to replace certain parts says a lot about this. The only thing I am sure about service centers is their over pricing on their services (which can easily be done by common folks if they have the same equipment). That's why I'm asking where can I buy genuine parts. I already checked Ifixit but sadly they don't ship to Philippines

Only samsung has original parts. You can do it yourself if you have at least little knowledge in phone repairs. I dont trust yt tutorials coz usually they dont give small details. But then thats your phone so its upto you to decide.

You're right about limited details. But for me, I think I trust those guys, especially jerryrigseverything. Plus, samsung themselves recommend buying genuine parts on ifixit. I don't see anything wrong about that except the limited shipping options. That's why I'm asking for my fellow pilipinos about their experience. So far, I've only gathered negative comments about samsung service centers here

3600 for my Note20U last year I think around March? Sa Samsung SM Megamall ako nagpapalit. Lahat ng nandito sa community Pinoy actually, the app ports automatically based on the location of the phone, regardless of the variant.
