Galaxy SProbably nothing to do with the update. It almost never is.
But if you are having issues, I'd try a couple of things.
You can try Safe Mode & see if the issues persist, if not, then it's likely a 3rd party app that you download.
Even though there's a script built in to the updates, sometimes there's some ju*nk that gets left behind, and Booting into Recovery & Wiping Cache can fix it.
If you're still having issues, then if it was my device, I'd backup with Smart Switch & Factory Reset.. yeah, you probably don't want to do that, but.. it usually solves any problems, other than a hardware issue.

Galaxy SAfter ANY BIG MAJOR update, IT'S always better to go to recovery mode and do the Wipe Cache Partition:
- Power off your phone
- Press and hold vol up and power key until you are in recovery mode
- use vol up and down to navigate
- select Wipe Cache Partition
- press power key to confirm
- click yes
- click reboot system
Wipe cache partition cleans corrupted files

Galaxy SDon't know if using Samsung Members Diagnostics for the Touch Screen will give any errors?
In the past, rarely, Samsung has pushed a "hot fix", if it's a widely reported issue.
You would think that they might on a just released "flagship"..
