Bixby voice update

As you can see I received an update for Bixby today, citing Bixby voice as a new feature. However it still unavailable. anyone got any luck ?

Yeah I've been reading a few reddit post about users getting the same update. Maybe it's doing a soft launch and it's almost ready to be released? it would mean Samsung is loading it to our device and then they would just need to turn the servers on for Canada. Very exciting!

still they should not cite it as a new feature when it's not available.

yes but I'm assuming they're readying the feature for us very soon, it's still technically packaged in there and they can't install something on your device without telling you they installed something. Just speculation, at the same time it could of been an error just porting the details over from US Version in which case would suck

readying the feature does not meant installing it. they could have just labeled it as "Bixby improvements". everybody got hyped by a feature that is not there yet.

Yes but you can't push a software update without warning your customers that it comes with extra software, so if in fact Bixby Voice's install files have been installed, Samsung has to be transparent about that regardless. For all we know though it could be a misprint or something from a Samsung US port which would be disappointing.

Also, if you go to Settings - Sound and Vibrations - Volume, there's now a setting for Bixby Voice Volume so something was installed. And if you got to Application Manager you can now find Bixby Voice in there meaning it was installed

also...if u lets say open message app then start a reply or typing in other app, just so u can bring up the keyboard, you can do this. Switch on the Google voice recognition( hold on 1st button on left of space on keyboard ) and while google voice recognition is on, press hold on bixby button. It will bring Bixby up with some korean words...but...u can hit on full screen and you will have more insights on bixby voice. I even record my voice to wake up bixby. I enter by pressing the info button on very top left corner of that screen... but thats it...you cant do more

My update is the same version but in the What's new area, it only says: Bixby Home

maybe they remove it, I'm not the only one flooding their customer service asking about the "Bixby voice update".
