From what I've seen around the web, it seems that the Galaxy s8 (and maybe s9 too not sure) will only display the battery level of certain Bluetooth devices. if anyone sees a battery level for their headphones, mind posting the brand/model? I'm tired of getting to the gym only to realize my headphones are near dead.

in most cases that your Bluetooth device battery is shown is when you download the app for the make and model.
mine does for both my plantronics, Sony headphones and lastly my samsung level.

I'm using S8+. I have a Beats Studio 3 Wireless. There's a built in indicator on Beats that shows the battery level, also on my S8+ it shows the battery percentage remaining for Beats

Why not look into headphones that offer both Bluetooth and audio cable connection? At least if the headphone BT batteries die, you can connect audio cable and still be able to listen to your music?

I use the uflex headphones at the gym. They are light, flexible and sound great. the battery % shows up in the samsung level app. I'd recommend trying those.
