Hi, I have a bluetooth call audio issues.


Setup: s21 ultra connected to various headset/ wearable - sony headphone, car bluetooth, anroid auto, Samsung gear, samsung buds plus.

Issue: Bluetooth media audio always works, but bluetooth call audio never works. I can't hear the audio or other party hear me in a call, so I fallback to using mobile in handset mode or turn on mobile speaker to talk. 


Never have i ever had this issue. Was always using samsung since the note 2 release. This is the first time. 


Have you guys had similar issues?

Hmm, that's odd @bigsid. Does this happen for all devices that you're connected to via Bluetooth? Here are some troubleshooting steps you can try: 

 

- Clearing data from Bluetooth in the phone's settings: to do this, open Settings > Apps > ⋮ > toggle on Show system apps and tap Okay > Bluetooth > Storage > tap clear cache and clear data.

- Reset your network settings: to do this, open Settings > General management > Reset > Reset network settings > RESET NETWORK SETTINGS.

 

Please note that doing these steps will reset all connections, so you will need to re-pair your devices.

Hi Tina,

No its not on all Bluetooth connected devices. The sonly headphones works ok but everything else is just not .

I spoke to someone in samsung and they ran me through the above mentioned steps but nothing worked. Im still not able to use my divices for Bluetooth calls

Thank you for the information, @bigsid. I would recommend also checking that your other devices' Bluetooth is up to date. For you car, you can check this through the site of the manufacturer on how to update its Bluetooth.

Thanks for the reply back, i have check for all new updates and they all are up to date. I have raised an error report like you have asked me. Hope this can be rectified soon.
