I suddenly have no volume when the car picks up my call. I can faintly hear the caller. Radio is turned up. Same car, same phone. Any ideas?

Hi Thisgirl,

If your Bluetooth call volume is suddenly low in your car even though music/radio volume is fine, try these steps:

Check in-call volume while on the call. During the Bluetooth call, use your phone’s volume up button to raise the call volume.

Restart both devices. Restart your phone and your car’s infotainment system (or turn the car off/on).

Forget and re-pair Bluetooth: On your phone: Settings → Connections → Bluetooth → Your Car → Unpair. Reconnect and allow access to calls and audio.

Test with another device: Connect a different phone to your car to confirm if the issue is with the phone or the car system.

If it still persists after these steps, it could be caused by a recent update or a car firmware glitch. In that case, a full reset of your car’s Bluetooth system or checking with the car manufacturer’s support may help.

Let us know how it goes!
