I agree lol. Samsung does sell USB-c portable hard drives from 500 gb to 2 tb. Just plug it in and you can save/transfer your files easily. They have the T5/T7 portable hard drives and I personally own the T5 with 1 tb storage and it works great with my phone and pc.

iPhone 12 Pro Max 256GB=$1689.
Is not just the $30 difference between, which is a small one, but apps, support, hardware quality are better too on iPhone.

Hardware, not sure but Apple uses several items from Samsung in their phones. 

Apps I can't say, as I've never used an iPhone... But remember Apple Maps? I'm sure that there's still some people who are lost 🤣
