Hi, we suggest you to follow these steps.

Go to settings > Display > Click on bottom of brightness > Adaptive brightness > Turn on.

I know it sounds silly....but have you tried to turn off your phone and turn it back on?

Yes I did it. The issued was resolve turning off the extra dim in accessibility.
Setting> accessibility >visibility enhancements > exta dim; turning off.
