Hi everyone,

I’m hoping someone can help me with the call recording feature on my S23 Ultra. When I go to Call Settings > Record Calls, there’s no option to enable or disable recording, and none of my calls are being recorded.

I’ve searched online and found suggestions to use the three-dot menu during a call to select "Record call," but that option doesn’t appear for me. I also just updated my phone to the latest software, but the issue persists.

Has anyone else dealt with this or found a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Attached is a screenshot of the Record Calls section in my settings for reference.

Thanks in advance!

There's nothing in the settings for enabling or disabling call recording.

When you make and the other party answers, the phone app will then display a symbol for call recording. You can then tap on that symbol/icon to start recording the call.

When you do start recording, a voice will say that the call is being recorded. This is to let the other party know that the call is being recorded.

Hi SunnyHundal,

If call recording is supported on your device, you won't see a toggle to enable or disable it in settings. Instead, during an active call (once the other party answers), a call recording icon should appear in the Phone app interface typically near the keypad or in the three-dot menu.

Tapping that icon will start recording, and you’ll hear a voice prompt informing both parties that the call is being recorded, as required by local regulations.

Thank you.
