You have to press the record icon on the dialer screen. It's shown once you press dial. It might only show when the other side answers.

Open phone
Press 3 dots on the top right corner
Record calls should be listed there
Press the Record Calls option and you should be able to play with the settings, should work for you.

I am attaching 4 screenshots which I see in my S23 Ultra. Phone dial screen -> 3 dots in top right corner -> settings -> record calls and you should see recording options.1761254936412.jpg1761254938626.jpg1761254940257.jpg1761254940931.jpg

For me to record calls, I always have to tap the icon located adjacent on the left side to call assist, the icon which looks like T on a tape, as in the screenshot. I cant record calls automatically and it's a manual process for me. May be that is what is happening with you. Do let me know if that is the case or a different scenario.1761259355387.jpg

Hi S25PlusWorld,

Here are the formal steps to enable the call recording feature on your Samsung Galaxy S25+:

  1. Open the Phone App Launch the default Phone application on your Galaxy S25+.

  2. Access Settings Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) located in the top-right corner of the screen, then select Settings.

  3. Navigate to Call Recording Scroll down and tap on Call Recording. If this option is not visible, it may be restricted due to regional or carrier limitations.

  4. Enable Auto Recording (Optional)

    • Tap Auto Record Calls.

    • Choose your preferred setting:

      • All calls

      • Calls from unsaved numbers

      • Calls from specific numbers

  5. Review Legal Notice Samsung may display a disclaimer regarding local laws. Please ensure that call recording is permitted in your region before proceeding.
