I have one on my N20U and I used to have one in my S10+ - it doesn't affect the image quality but you always have to ensure that it's clean. I find it to be a finger print magnet, especially if you play games on landscape mode.

This is what I experienced when I used a tempered glass on the camera, fingerprint smudges.. so I ended up removing it, I just need to be more careful where I place my phone, to avoid scratches to the camera lens

Yup you can totally go bare. I just want the added protection.

So I tried putting one on, it didnt affected the image in normal conditions but when it is directed tonlights source the image lightens up, and when flash is used it the image just becomes white.

For me, I use tempered glass/protector for my device's camera and it doesn't affect the photo quality at all (unless the protector gets scratched heavily). Still, I do recommend that you put additional protection as well for your camera glass so as to avoid unwanted scratches which in turn may affect your camera shots further. Hope to have helped. Keep safe and enjoy the rest of the week. 😊

I personally dont like tempered glasses. I think they are hazardous when they break. specially when around children. Or pets 🤣 I use a case with a camera lens cover instead for that added protection. 20211027_110403_41974.jpg

Hey there!

It shouldn't, but you have to make sure to install the glass correctly AND as clean as possible to avoid smudging. And in the event the cover breaks, replace it immediately to avoid scratches on the glass covering!
