Anyone else noticing seriously weird changes in the camera software when using photo vs video in front and back cameras ? The videos keep adding a weird yellow tint and hazy appearance.

When I switch from photo to video, the colours completely change and this happens in the preview and the final photo/video after I take the shot. I've factory resetted my phone, toggled all the camera options you could even think of too. Nothing.

I was super curious if this happens on other Samsung devices like the s24 Ultra and S21.

The S24 and the Ultra both have this weird bug BUT my old S21 does not. It hasn't had any software updates since March 2024, so I did a software update and my S21 now has this issue. Samsung please fix your camera software! I was so close to switching to iPhone because of this 😅

Yes, I have the same issue. Now they have fixed this in new S25 ultra 😅

I hope they use the same software to fix previous models 😭

Do you have the face filter on? There a setting to make the photo warmer, etc. Check this setting.

It's currently turned off, I can't apply face filters to videos except making the skin smoother so I'm not sure why the video appears warmer 🤔

Must be a much larger issue than just Australia. I suggest doing a Google search plus googling for alternate apps. If you find one not in Play Store remember to change settings to allow non Play Store apps. Also search YouTube.

Thank you! I've already been experimenting with some APKs like Google's camera app - so far I've yet to find a camera app I like but hopefully I'll find one!

Update: I'm using the BlackMagic Camera app - fully free, no ads, however it only shoots video but video is the only issue I'm having with the default camera app so it's fine
