Galaxy S
I am out of country and have taken out
my sim card on my S8 and am using a Vodafone wifi box which I connect to. Today I received at least 100 **bleep** (cell broadcast) text messages that just have a number and city. Can I turn these off or block them in any way? None of the Google hints seem to apply to this model of phone.

If it's the same number, in messaging app hit the 3 dots up top right and go into settings then block numbers 🤷♂️
And turn on caller ID and spam protection on in there as well 👍
