Charging galaxy S9

Hello. Just wondering, is it safe to use the galaxy A70 superfast charger for my galaxy S9? Will it damage the phone battery?

Hi. Both uses USB Type-C port, hence no problem at all. In fact, any third party charger can be used as long as it's of the same type.

The phone has to have the super fast charging capability. So if u plug in the phone doesn't have it will charge as fast charge. Won't spoil just u don't fully enjoy its full potential that's all😊👍

S9 also capable to use fast charging.

A70 uses 25W fast charging while S9 used 15W fast charging.. Might damage your battery in the long term.

I have to politely disagree on your statement. The system is smart enough to detect supplied voltage and acceptable voltage at both ends, hence only allow what is maximum accepted by the phone.

Like I mention in my comment probably useless. It will charge according to the phone capacity. No superfast it will charge as basic fast charge.

Obviously if can charge use the original given with the phone. If no choice one day use the superfast charge I highly doubt can damage. As long ur not using 3rd party charger ur safe😊👍
