I'm so annoyed. I was using my phone yesterday and did didn't expose it to any water, heat or anything else that would damage it. This orange screen flashes up now and sometimes a green screen too. I'm so annoyed as I rely on my phone for work and for personal reasons. The phone shops are currently closed here in Ireland. Can someone urgently help? It is a Samsung s10 and I've only had it for a number of months.

Hi Hazel05smyth,

Please try to press and hold the Volume Down key and hold the Power key. When the Samsung Galaxy logo shows on the screen, release the Power key and Volume Down key. When the Android logo shows, leave the phone for a few seconds.

I hope it works!

Don't you mean:

Press & Hold Power + Volume DOWN to "Soft Reset"....

Press & Hold Power + Volume "up" won't do anything..... Just Sayin'.

Unless my eyes are fooling me it looks like there are dead pixels in the top left corner and a large crack in the bottom right corner. Seems like the damage from the that is starting to catch up with the rest of the phone.

I've tried holding volume down button and power button. This is not rebooting the phone. There are some dead pixels in left top corner and I don't what caused them to appear. There is no crack on left hand side, that is just the screen protector. Any other ideas? The samsung logo is not appearing at all!! Just orange screen followed by a flickering green one maybe and then it dies. Please help!!

I assume the dead pixels are a result of the drop that broke the screen protector, or some other impact the phone has been victim to. Dead pixels usually don't appear out of nowhere and are a result of something. This flickering likely had something to do with that I'm afraid. dead pixels are never a good thing.

The same thing happened to my Galaxy S10.  No matter how long or how often I depress the hard/soft reset buttons, it would not reboot.  The technician at the repair shop said that it most likely is a bad Amoled LCD screen and it would cost as much as a used phone to replace the screen.  As it would not make sense to spend that amount of money and I have nothing to lose, the phone's back was removed and followed by the QI layer, exposing the battery connector.  Disconnecting the battery's connector and reconnecting it after 5 mins still showed and orange screen when powered on.  As the technician at the store said that only once in the many S10s that he fixed did the screen come back on by removing and reconnecting the screen's connector to the main PCB, I tried that but no cigar.

At this point, I assume that the Amoled LCD screen is bad and that this is a common fault with S10 screens considering the number of reports on the Internet.
