Galaxy SContacts allows me to enter my D.O.B under my profile.
To add your relationship to a contact, click on edit & more, you can enter your relationship here.
You could enter the year of someone's passing, in Contact Notes.
NOTE: My Contacts are synced with my Google account.. you may not have the same options if you are synced with Phone, SIM or Samsung account.

Galaxy SHi Tao77,
Thank you so much for your thoughtful feedback and great questions it's clear you make full use of the Samsung ecosystem, especially Contacts and Calendar!
Date of Birth in My Profile. You can enter your full date of birth (including the year) under My Profile in the Samsung Contacts app. Just tap on your profile, select Edit, and you’ll see the D.O.B. field.
Adding Your Relationship to Other Contacts. You can add your relationship to a contact by tapping Edit > More > Relationship. While you can't directly select your own profile as the relation, you can still manually label the relationship (e.g., “Mother,” “Friend,” etc.). Hopefully, future updates might allow selecting “Me” or linking profiles more dynamically.
Remembering Special Dates. While Samsung Calendar doesn’t currently show a contact’s age on their birthday, you can still include these details in the Notes section of a contact especially for marking significant life events like birthdays or dates of passing. It's a great way to honor and remember loved ones.
Please note that your available options may differ depending on where your contacts are saved Samsung account, Google account, SIM, or Phone. Using Samsung Cloud or Google typically gives you the most flexibility.
Thank you RedDogRabbit for your thoughtful suggestions and follow-up!
