I recently purchase a Samsung S23.  I have followed the on-line instructions for copying a text message (tap and hold down) but I am not getting the options to copy and paste.  I get a line of emoji like symbols instead ...not sure what I am doing wrong.  Please help if you can.  Bill

Hi, I request you to please follow the below steps once and check again.

Here is the path:

Power the device off. Press and hold the Volume Up key and the Power key.

Navigate with the Volume keys to the wipe cache partition option and press the Power key to select.

Performing a wipe cache partition removes any temporary files that may be causing an issue with the device.

Do as you were doing, long press on the message you want to copy & Then Click on the Copy Icon at the top.

You'll see that it's been copied to the clipboard.

Don't wipe your cache partition as previously mentioned, just follow RedDog's instructions instead and you're good to go.
