Date gone from clock widget

Since the latest UI update, the date has gone from the clock and home screen widget. Please bring it back.

It's still showing for 2x2 and 4x2 widget

Agree. I miss my 1x4 widget that contained both.
I legitimately thought the new widget was a timer.

Yeah, bring it back and allow it to actually be transparent like before, not just a huge white blur

I found if you hard press the weather widget then tap the settings icon then it give u the option to.make the background clear. I found that this afternoon

Agree, was outside talking to my husband neither of us could figure out the date-normally I'd look at my phone and it would be displayed, but since the upgrade it's gone I had to ask google what is the date! Please put it back.

Yep, same, so seriously annoying ! Messed up my emails too, wasted so much time on this.
