Dead pixel on my S23 Ultra acquired through Globe

Globe (dealer) did not perform the basic phone diagnostics when it handed me over my new S23 Ultra last March 11. I've been using it on dark mode since Day 1, and only found out of the dead pixel on the display last night when I disabled dark mode. My phone is already with the Samsung service center. Lesson? It's important to ask your carrier or any dealer to do phone diagnostics before you take home your new phone.

Agree. It's negligence really on their part. Considering how expensive the phone is, it's a must that they do it.

Thanks, Rene. I hope Samsung replaces my S23 Ultra because it's just 8-day old. It's gonna be frustrating if you will open it up and just replace the screen. I should've bought a refurbished phone if that's the way Samsung will take. It's a flagship phone so my expectations are high.

No worries; if the Service Team finds out that its a factory defect, then your wish will be granted. You may follow up with the Samsung Authorized Service Service within the agreed time frame.
