I have a question.. How can I change default bluetooth devices for calls on the basis of impotence. Example, if I am in my car I want to answer and make calls via my car and not my smart watch and vice versa.. Or if I'm walking and I have my buds + on I would like to answer or make calls via the buds + and not my smart watch.. I have to constantly change the setting manually while making or answering a call

Have a look at the link & also you can check out the two apps in the screen shots.

There doesn't seem to be a straightforward way to achieve what you want, but you may be able to get something close?

Hi, Unfortunately, there is no such setting available on devices.

Dear Samsung, PLEASE fix this ASAP! My old (non-Samsung) phone used whatever device I clicked to answer a call, but my Samsung S21 always tries to use my smartwatch for voice calls! That is very annoying and a potentially a serious hazard, as it does not use a car BT handsfree when I drive, so I have to fiddle around to switch it manually to the car system when a call is already in progress.

Agree. This is incredibly annoying. Every time I make a call, I have to select the right Bluetooth device.

Why doesn't it remember the last one used?

I also have the same issue on my S21+. When I make phone call, I need to select my Buds 2 when my watch is also connected. That is also problematic in the car. We should be able set certain devices as default without a hassle. At least the Bluetooth Buds should be the default device when making a call.

Solution found here https://thesassway.com/how-to-set-default-bluetooth-on-android/

The priority seems to be based on when you add the device so use that to set it up unpairing and pairing as required
