delay lock screen in samsung s24 ultra

I've noticed that my Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra, running One UI 7,  This started on April 11th, following the One UI 7 update. A noticeable sound effect plays, and then the screen goes dark a couple of seconds later. Has anyone else experienced this? While it's a minor inconvenience, it does detract from the phone's overall feel of quality and optimization, especially given the delayed update.

Maybe try go to recovery mode to do a wipe cache partition.

- Power off your phone
- Press and hold vol up and power key until you are in recovery mode
- use vol up and down to navigate
- select Wipe Cache Partition
- press power key to confirm
- click yes
- click reboot system

can i take backup whole things or not before do that

If you choose the correct option, "Wipe Cache Partition", it is no need to do full back up. It is just clear the temporary system data that can sometimes become corrupted or outdated, causing performance issues or glitches from the system.

But you can do a backup for safe side.

its not working i do wipe cache partition and restart but still take mili second for screen lock but screen lock sound do work properly but screen goes dark in mili second how to fix any other idea

Don't have any solution. I am not sure if you have use other lockscreen. Like 3rd party or Goodlock. If you use 3rd party lockscreen, could be the software incompatibility yo OneUI 7.

Thanks for confirming. Since wiping the cache partition didn’t fix the issue, here are a few other things you can try to troubleshoot the screen turning off too quickly after the lock sound on your S24 Ultra:

If you’re using biometric unlock, try disabling animations: Settings > Biometrics and security > Fingerprints. Turn off Show animation when unlocking.

Sometimes lock screen transitions or wallpapers cause a black flicker: Settings > Lock screen > Lock screen style or Effects. Try switching to basic style, or remove any custom live wallpapers or effects.

Boot into Safe Mode to see if a third-party app is causing it:

• Press and hold the Power button

• Tap and hold Power off, then tap Safe mode

• Test locking the phone in safe mode

• If it behaves normally, the issue is likely caused by a third-party app or launcher
