Deleting an edited shorten video in Gallery app ends up an growing big system file.

If I shorten a big video from 1.4g to 0.4g.  The extra 1g goes to system file. 

In this case, deleting the 0.4g file permently, the extra 1g stay in system file.

I repeat several times so my system file grow from 5xg to 70g. 

Any idea how to clear it?

Have you deleted all files in trash?

Maybe try delete things in the recycle bin and check again 👀
