Sorry, the Snapdragon 801 is simply not capable of handling DeX even with some custom ROM

Just to go into a little more detail...
the Dex has a USB type C connection and your S5 as well as the S6 and S7 have a mini USB connection so unfortunately they wont/can't work together....

even with an adapter...it wouldn't work due to the processor.
It is not powerful enough as it is on the S8/Note 8
