First try go to Google Play Store, then update all apps, including Chrome. Restart your phone and test if you have app crashed.

HI @Ginabeth

You have to uninstall Android system webview updates

To do it, go  in Settings / Applications /Your apps(system applications)/Find Android System Webview...  then click on the 3 dots at the right top of screen and select uninstall updates......and after update all applications with Google Play Store

I think you need to update your Chrome and Android System Weview app from Google Play Store.

So, are you able to uninstall Chrome?

Setting → Apps → Chrome → 3 dots on top right → Uninstall updates

Then Update on Play Store again.
