Double tap recent apps button tip

I'm not sure if any of you are aware of this, but double tapping the recent button will quickly switch you to your previous app.

I use text and WhatsApp on a daily basis, so if I open the Messages app and then open Whatsapp, double tapping the recent button with switch me between the 2 apps until I open another app.

I'm sure this works on other devices as well.

Indeed a very useful shortcut. It's a standard feature on Android Nougat, for once Google adds something actually worth having before OEM UI (like MultiWindow since the Note II)

yes I figured this out one day by accidentally pressing the back button quickly. it's quite useful

I used this feature too but now it is not working, even my aps suggestions which comes when I touch recent Button is messed up can anyone help me , I use a galaxy M31

The feature still works on my Note 20 Ultra.
