I'm not sure if the device is too old, or not compatible with Bluetooth, or if there's a setting to bring volume to said device. Otherwise, I may have to purchase new earbuds. My wired earbuds are four years old and still work great, but it would be nice to go wireless.
Any opinions on the subject?

Hi bigbeardy71,

Can you please tell us the model of your device and the model of the earbuds? Please try the below steps which may help to solve the issue.

Please check the Bluetooth volume independently from the phone's main volume. Sometimes, Bluetooth devices have their own separate volume control.

Also, ensure that the media volume on your phone is turned up, not just the ringer volume.

You can also try forgetting the earbuds from your phone and then reconnecting them.

Go to Settings > Bluetooth, tap on the connected earbuds, and choose Forget. Then, re-pair them.

If possible, please try connecting your earbuds to another Bluetooth device (like another phone or tablet) to see if the issue persists. This can help you determine if the problem lies with your earbuds or your phone.

Thank you.

Thank you, Helenna. The model is the S22.
I will try to follow the steps that you've suggested and get back to you with the result.

Thank you kindly.

Helenna, I am reporting back on connecting my device with the original Samsung buds.
I'd tried a couple of things, such as making sure my buds were fully charged. The next thing was to press down on them while in their case. Whatever I did seemed to work, but sadly, only the right one is still working, and it sounds good. I guess just playing around with it seemed to do the trick.
I believe that I'll be getting a new pair for Christmas 🎄 ☺️.

Thanks for your suggestions and happy holidays.
