I have a question what is (empty dish) setting for? I just noticed it's in my pull down quick launch setting? ed428da0-7109-4467-acf1-52013b2a6dbf.jpg

You found the Android Nougat Easter egg. If you fill the dish you can collect kitties. Not much. Just a little Easter egg

I read somewhere that this is removed in Oreo. Do you know if that's true? Is there a new Easter egg for when Oreo comes out?

I take it not everyone has it? Or is it in different locations?

You just tap on it and select one of the foods. After some time you'll get a notification saying a cat is here

Settings > About phone > repeatedly tap Android version > Tap the Android Nougat N 4 times and hold. it might take a couple tries. You will feel the phone vibrate and a cat emoji will appear on the screen. Then go to your notification bar and you will see a dish
