I just got an S10 phone and in the main text message page there is an "N" but the 3 dots. When I click on it and try to get I to chat settings I get this message- "There was a problem connecting. Try again later."
Does anyone know how to resolve this?

You are getting the "failed to connect" message because your Carrier (likely Telus or one of it's subsidiaries) does not support RCS (Rich Communication Services) yet - If the error message bothers you - You could switch to Android Messages until your Carrier supports RCS - You still won't have RCS - But you won't see the message 🐧

Oh ok. I didn't know that. So how do I switch to Android messages?

You can download it from the Play Store & after you have installed it - Open it & set it as your Default Message app until your Carrier supports RCS 🐧
