Regarding the cover image for the S25 Ultra, the build number indicates a delay of one month. Considering the device's recent release, and with seven updates remaining, the expectation is for the July security patch to incorporate One UI 8. While there is a possibility of the August or September patch being released for non-beta users, the feasibility of a July release, given that it may be a rebranded One UI 7.0.1 based Android 16, is being assessed. The full implementation of One UI 8 is anticipated with version 8.5.

How is the June Security Patch Update "extremely late"?

It's not 7 more updates, it is a total of 7 years of Android version updates... 🙄

Google, which is where Samsung gets a significant portion of the monthly Security Patch Updates, generally STARTS to release it's monthly Security Patch on the first Monday of the month, but it isn't released to all Google devices at the same time.

The agreement between Google and other Android OEMs, gives them 90 days to provide the Security Patch Updates for their respective devices.

Samsung and presumably, like the other Android OEMs also work on their own Security Patch Updates..

Android 16 / One UI V8.0, will have more robust Security than currently available in One UI V7.0..

The fact that Samsung is releasing One UI V8.0 with the Flip / Fold 7 in July, with the S25 series likely to receive it before the end of July, seems to be going unnoticed by many, instead, some are still complaining about Security Patches.. Always something to be unhappy about.... 🙄

Absolutely the One UI V7.0 update was a mess!

I would like to think that Samsung has sacked the people who were responsible.

The fact that One UI V8.0 is on Beta 3 the first week of July, gives me hope that Samsung has resolved whatever issues resulted in the One UI V7.0 debacle.
