Open the Camera's Settings & Settings to Keep > Camera Mode.

Toggle ON,

But if you last used Video, it will open in Video Mode.

@Mreye3 - Are you talking about "Choose best face" feature? I don't think there is automatically open closed eye feature; however, you can use choose best face to replace closed eye in photo.1766897972006.jpg

Hi Mreye3,

Thank you for your question regarding the Galaxy S25 Ultra camera features.

At this time, the Galaxy S25 Ultra does not include a native camera function that can automatically correct closed eyes in photos. However, you may find helpful options within Gallery > Edit or through Samsung Photo Editor/Expert RAW, where you can apply enhancements, adjust facial features that specialize in eye opening corrections.

For best results, we recommend:

Using Burst Mode to capture multiple frames, increasing the chance of eyes open in at least one shot.

Trying Group Shot Suggestions in the Camera app, which can help identify the best frame when photographing multiple people.

Exploring editing tools in the Samsung Galaxy Store or Play Store that offer advanced portrait corrections.

We appreciate your engagement and hope these alternatives help you achieve the results you're looking for.
