Hey again! I just noticed that Rogers and Fido updated their S/W update pages. There is a lot of info about the February patch and Oreo.
First, the security update. We have the S7 duo along with the Note 8 that are set to get patched soon. Somehow, the J3 Prime got the patch sooner than the flagships. +1 for the logic. The A5 2017 too. The Tab S2 (both sizes, both variants) got patched earlier this month too. (Blackberries got the Feb patch quite late this time too, it tells a lot about carrier delaying the FW updates)
Oreo is still THE subject here. And Fido updated their page TODAY, saying that the Oreo goodie is coming in March. No February patch, direct jump. This also happened last year with the S7 Nougat, no surprises here. It does tell us the S7, the A5 and the Note8 will get Oreos far later than the S8. Which is a shame but that's ok. So there you go for some Oreo info.
