Fingerprint issue after 3.1 update

My one of the fingerprint was not matching after the update so I canceled all my saved fingerprints and added new ones. Now it is working.

I don't know why it was not matching after the update.

It's almost to be expected, that some functions may not work the exact same way after a substantial update. Although in many ways, the update from One UI V3.0 to V3.1 are subtle, I'm not surprised by this. 

At the very least boot into recovery & wipe cache.

I always backup my phone with smart switch & factory reset after any android version update, but still wipe cache after every security patch update.

just to add to above, I would also del all fingerprints first before doing a cache wipe. than add each one back.
