Flickering Screen

After the recent update, my S20 Ultra 5G screen has been flickering for weeks until yesterday it became completely useless, the whole screen suddenly went white and green. There is no physical damage on the phone. I got the phone for year now, never dropped it since im working from home, its just on my table if not in my bag. I tried all the tips I found in youtube and google, except factory reset. I found this thread about users experiencing the same thing. Exactly the same scenario, the flickering just appeared mostly after the updates. I feel cheated by Samsung. This is going to be my last samsung device. I reached out to samsung, still got no reply.

Samsung will try to help you just try to reach their hotline numbers was provided above. I understand your frustration that S20 ultra was very expensive during it was lunch and have some issues with it after a year compared with my $135 dollars device that i boughs since 2019 2 years ago but having no issue with it. Now i know that Amoled screens are prone to issues after a year compare to IPS LCD'S.

I think the phone fixed itself. I updated all softwares, including all the apps, on the phone. drained the battery (left it for a day, more than 24hrs i think). I did this for the phone to really reboot. then charged it up for 2hrs the next (even if im using the fast charger). When i turned it back on, the screen did not flicker anymore. Hope it does not happen again.

Mine gets back and forth ... it works for a day then back to white screen / green screen for like a week 🥵 And then back again.
