Flip4 auto power off be it close screen or not

Recently updated the UI 5.1 on flip4, it seems to have caused issues e.g close flip screen instant power off phone, else, with screen open random period/chances the phone power off. Settings on phone no changes before or after the updates, thus closing the flip screen does not lower off phone by default at all.

Run phone diagnostics no issue found.

Battery is full charge/80% or lower , close flip screen still power off. 

Unable to revert the UI updates already.

Messaged live chat support, test reset phone settings, safe mode, power off and on, all the Troubleshooting steps doesn't resolve the issue. Once close flip screen definitely 100% power off phone, and even with screen flip open unsure when it will power off again. This is really getting quite a huge issue.

Have booked a face to face support next week, but would like to see if anyone encounters this esp after the update.

Hi, in that case, do remember to back up all ur data using Smart Switch, before u send in for repair. As they will factory reset ur phone, regardless of the repair type. The repair will usually be covered if they inspect there's no foul play involved.

Hope so else cannot flip close the lid is quite a problem

Yes.. if cannot close firmly, anything big enough to slip inside could damage the delicate plastic film protector.

Seems its known issue for flip3 n 4 after the UI updates. Had to sent in the phone for lcd replacement, hope all is well after this. Thanks for the advice.

Same for Z Fold 3 and Z Fold 4. After One UI 5.1 update, having wifi and mobile hotspot not turning on.
