NextRadio is a real FM tuner, but will only work if it can access the FM receiver that IS built into the Snapdragon chip. Samsung and carriers can disable/lock it to force data usage for streaming apps. So its hit and miss depending on the phone model and carrier. I have had success with it on a factory unlocked model. CRTC needs to force them to stop like they made them network unlock the phones.
