Ive been a huge fan of Samsung ever since the Galaxy S3. My mom's boyfriend gave me his when he upgraded to the S4, and I was using a blackberry bold at the time with a track ball... 😂 Since I got the Galaxy S3 with the touch screen I thought it was the most advanced thing I've ever owned... Little did I know how innovative this company would be with their phones. Since then I've owned the Galaxy S4, Galaxy S6, Galaxy S7edge, Galaxy S8+, Galaxy S9+, Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S22, Galaxy S24+, and I pre-ordered and am typing on the Galaxy S25+.
I was never a fan of the ultra, especially after they stopped curving the corners and made it really boxy. This year was curved down more, but when I went to go compare in the store the S25+ is literally the same size phone. The S25 ultra is slightly bigger. If they curved it more like the + version I would have got it. (Maybe). I am very thankful for 1 awesome thing in OneUI7 ... VERTICAL SCROLLING! Yes! We have vertical scrolling. (Alphabetical order only but hey it's here)
Funny part is I hate the curved screens. Makes accidentally pressing buttons easier, watching videos and having case on annoying. I liked when they offered the curved option for some who wanted it (edge) and the others who don't. I almost left when they made it standard. Glad they are back to sqaure.
If you are talking about a physical corners, easy to get a slim case that will round it.
Yeah I agree I wasn't a huge fan of the curved screen (edge) the corners however I don't like the boxiness of the ultras (S23, S24) the S25+ has a very wide screen like the iPhones. I love how they are easy to type on (gboard) I am not much of a fan of the Samsung board, though I do like the customization that comes with good lock.

We understand the preference for curved vs. flat displays each design has its advantages, and we always take user feedback into account when refining our devices. It’s great to hear that the vertical scrolling app drawer in One UI 7 has been a welcome addition!
Hey! Thanks for the reply! Yes vertical app drawer scrolling is HUGE and been requested a lot. Now if only we could rearrange those apps how we like :) lol next year I suppose.
As for the curved screens I was more referring to the edges of the top and bottom of the phone. The ultra is more boxy where as the plus is more rounded. I prefer the plus over the ultra because of this reason, and also I'm not a HUGE photographer, and the specs are quite the same other then the anti glare on the ultra and the camera setup. Other then that I absolutely love the new S25+ people say don't upgrade if you got the 23 or 24, but I would upgrade (as I did) with all the great features OneUI7 has for customization I can't even imagine what you'll do with OneUI 8... Lol 😂
