As well as the many other people that posted they have this issue on another thread the back of my phone is peeling. The paint under the plastic is coming off and the back were it is peeling is now not attached. Just as other have said on this forum as well as reddit and other android forums. This can not be user issue ith the amount of people having this problem and tired of reading moderators dance in circles around the issue. This phone wasn't cheap. If this is how this company addresses issues then I won't spend another cent on Samsung. This is coming from someone who buys your brand religiously. But the way customers are being ignored and dismissed with something that is very apparently a manufacturer issue is disgusting. My phone is falling apart now and held together by my protective case.
We suggest you to get the phone examined by the service technician so that they can fix it. If your phone is under warranty and technician says it is not covered under warranty then please check with Care + plan support team if you had purchased it. I purchased a Samsung S20 FE phone on contract June 2021. I have paid over £800. In the last 2 months the back of the phone has started to peel off and is flaking. Took it back to Samsung as I have a warranty. They said that the warranty is void because of a scratch on the camera and I would have to pay £170 to fix the back of the phone. This is ridiculous because this is an aesthetic problem that is happening to others with the same phone some have only had the phone for 8 months some a year but the engineer failed to acknowledge this because he said there were only 'some' customers that have had this problem. I am very upset because I only got this expensive phone because of the good camera and because I wanted to keep it for some years to come. Now I am stuck with a phone that will be unusable within a few months maybe 6 maximum because the peeling will eventually leave the back of the phone exposed and dangerous to use as I've seen from other customers. I don't know if they fixed yours.
