SDG 14 is about "Life below water" . It is one of the 17 SDG. It's aim for conserve and sustainably use the Oceans, seas and marine resources for sustainable development .
Every year , 640,000 fishing nets are abandoned in our oceans. To reduce their impact on our planet , Samsung innovated a solution that repurposes them for Galaxy technology starting with Galaxy S22 series. They are introducing their first-ever smartphone that incorporates repurposed fishing net. It's the most sustainable phone! By the end of 2022 , Samsung's use of ocean-bound plastics across its products could recover more than 50 tons of discarded fishing nets from in and around our oceans.
It's really a great move to save our planet . We play our own role to keep our oceans clean and preserve the environment for generations to come.
