Galaxy S23's One UI 8 update reaches the US

Samsung has finally started rolling out the One UI 8 update for the Galaxy S23 series in one of its biggest markets, the US.

Samsung released the One UI 8.0 (Android 16) update to the Galaxy S23, Galaxy S23+, and Galaxy S23 Ultra last month. However, back then, the brand had made it available only in Korea. Earlier this month, the company started rolling out the update internationally, with Asian and European countries being the first to get it. Well, the tech giant has finally released the new firmware in one of its biggest markets, the US.

The Galaxy S23’s One UI 8 update in the US is live for factory-unlocked as well as carrier-locked variants. The firmware version for the former is S91xU1UEU6EYI5, and that for the latter is S91xUSQU6EYI7 (via Samsung’s Community forum for the US). You can check it out in the image below. To get it, go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Why is canada always dead last. This is so annoying. When will ontario get one ui 8 for the s23+

I think and in my opinion it could be because Samsung prefers financially viable markets and partly because these updates are carrier-dependent as the carriers before release do plenty of testing.
