I want to ask about my mobile data network.

My phone is a Samsung S25 Plus, and I use Optus as the provider.

When I play MLBB using my own data connection, the ping is not stable—it frequently jumps to over 100ms.

However, when I connect to my friend's hotspot (he uses a Samsung S24 and the same Optus provider with the same data plan), the ping is stable. I never experience ping spikes; it stays under 90ms from the beginning to the end of the match.

What should I do? Is my phone the problem? I just bought it in February, and it worked well before. I only started having this issue in early May.

Hi maagast,

Are you experiencing lag on any other game or just MLBB?

A mod of the MLBB subreddit answers another user with the same issue.
Here is the response:

"Hi! Make sure you have enough space for the game to run smoothly and are on the latest version of the game. Try clearing cache and lower your graphics settings to Smooth and check if your issue persists. If this doesn't work then reinstall the game. Do make sure to bind your account properly before you reinstall!

If neither works, contact customer support in game through below link to report your issue:

Customer Support > Internet and Device Problem > Lag and Disconnection > Contact Customer Support

Select "Lag" as your issue and provide further details and submit the form."

Hope this helps, let me know how you go.
