Hey in less than 3 days, it's labor day! That's a federal holiday, which means that if you aren't going to spend it to watch a legend conclude, that's the perfect time to update your phones! Here's what the Korean giant has for y'all this Labor day and this month:

Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+: August patch
Samsung Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge: August patch
Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+: September patch (Date TBC)
Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9+: August patch and new enhancements including WiFi calling fixes apparently
Samsung Galaxy A5 2017: August patch
Samsung Galaxy A8 2018: OREO!!!
Samsung Galaxy Note 8: August patch
Samsung Galaxy Note 9: August patch and other fixes (Date TBC)
Samsung Galaxy J3 Prime: August patch (Date TBC)

Warning: most of these updates come with a new Bootloader version, even for the S7. Thus you won't be able to revert back to previous versions.

I think they underestimate how much we value OS updates, like how they underestimate the S9 trade-in value

I'm guessing you don't know where to find any more info on the s9 and s9+ update and what new enhancements and what they are fixing on wifi calling exactly?

None at the moment unfortunately. But it's coming very very soon at least. If new info is out, I'll post it.
