Just recently without installing any new apps I started getting this message every time I unlock my phone:

Grant administrator rights to prevent unauthorised access to your camera. These rights also allow you to look or wipe your devices remotely and prevent app uninstallation.

Does anyone know what this message is referring to and how to stop it from popping up?

Thanks

Hi adamndirtyape, I suggest you to please don't allow any permissions and share the screenshot of the message with us. Please also let us know the model number of your device. We will review the information and get back to you with the resolution.

Thanks for replying. I have a Galaxy S6 Edge, model number SM-G925W8. I did not install any new apps when this happened. I have since done a reset under the General tab in the settings. No change. I will attach a screen shot like you requested. This is a very perplexing problem.

I also turned off all permissions to the camera.

Avira seems to be the problem. I uninstalled it and I haven't seen the message again. I guess they did an update that was the issue. I had Avira on my phone for awhile and now it's suddenly a problem. Weird. Thanks for the help.
