I have an S9+ and for the last 4 to 5 months I have been getting security updates every month. As someone that has been on the fence for a while now about my next possible device, this shows that samsung has been taking software support far more seriously. So this is a nice change to write about something I like because for a while I felt like I been commenting about things that samsung has been doing that I don't like. So I'm giving credit where credit is due.
