I'm working for a carrier store since 8 years and I'm a little mystified over an issue with my friend S10 issue.

His play store is no longer wanting to download any app or update.

I've gone through many troubleshoot steps and I was wondering if any of you have already had this issue. The phone won't finish updating an app or downloading a new app.

The s10 is from bell, it was doing it BEFORE the update of yesterday and after also

It has work today until now, it has started to do the same things.

Steps we've done in order:

-Restarted the phone

-Clear the cache from bootloader.

-Hard reset from the bootloader

-Done some trouble shoot with samsung chat

-Restore the phone from a smart switch backup on the computer.

-Done the April security patch and one ui 2.1

-worked for few hours but after it stop working.

-uninstall play store update return it to its original update version and it was still stopping at random % of the update or new install.

So after all that, it was still not working.

We've done a reset from the software menu not bootloader.

Done a fresh install without a restore from smartswich right away just Google account first. He has installed some app, done his restore from smartswich and it was all working well even after the restore last night. He didn't change any setting during the day. It was working in the morning bu now, it still doing the same.

The issue occurs whilst on the Wi-Fi or on LTE and Updates or new download.

Anyone have any ideas on what to try next? I'm clueless now.

Our next step is to send it back to samsung on repair.

Hey @MAP,

Please remove the Google account and try to add another Google account then check if it works fine when you download an app or update.

Try clearing your device's cache partition.
