Hi,
First, sorry for my english, i'm French.
I have my S20 FE since november 2020 and i never had any problems with my GPS. For the last month as soon as the screen closes, my phone looses the GPS signal. No building, no bad weather and I tried all the things that people are saying. Worked for a year !!! Why it doesn't work anymore? Anyone have the same problem?
Thanks

Hi Fiston99, I suggest you to check permissions for the GPS app.

Open Location settings.

Navigate to and open Settings on your device, and then swipe to and tap Location.

Open App permissions.

Tap App permissions to view your apps. Apps that have location enabled constantly will be listed under ALLOWED ALL THE TIME.

If your GPS app is listed under this section, then the location is enabled.

Apps that use your device’s location only when you open them are listed under ALLOWED ONLY WHILE IN USE.

Apps that are not allowed to use your location are listed under DENIED. Set the app to Allow all the time.

If your GPS app requires permission, tap it, and then choose to Allow all the time.

Now your GPS app will be allowed to use your location whenever it's necessary.

Nothing of what you said worked (the setting was ok). The ONLY thing working is to put at off "Economie d'energie" when I need my GPS. Not fun!
