GREEN LINE ON SAMSUNG S21 ULTRA !

Dear Samsung, I updated my S21 Ultra to One UI Version 6.1, Android version 14 on 11th Aug 2024. Exactly 4 days after the update, on 15th Aug, a green vertical line suddenly just popped on my screen. I have tried all the troubleshooting steps given by @samsunghelpcentre but turned out the issue still persist. 

Today on 16th August I came to Penang CS in E-Gate and they told me there was a promotion for free screen replacement that was ended just yesterday and could not fit my device for the programme. Now they asked me to pay almost RM1000 plus for screen replacement.

Question:
1. Is it my fault to have the green vertical line on my device after updating the so called latest "SAMSUNG" Software ?

2. Do I have to pay for something that caused by a faulty or unstable SW version released?

3. Do Samsung actually do a reliability test in their so called latest "SAMSUNG" softwares before they release to end users?

4. Bought this phone for RM5000 just to see a faulty software caused hardware issues. So called "SAMSUNG" devices are worth to buy?

I was a loyal and ardent fan of Samsung , owning from phones to wearables to earbuds and now if @SAMSUNGMALAYSIA don't do anything then it's better to change to other brands. 

Please live up to the name you hold🙏

Yes, that's true. Don't update to the latest version. Or else Samsung will tell you to pay for a thing that you didn't do

My s22 affected already due to this update but they ask us to pay for the screen. Ridiculous

I've updated my device on 29th July and the green line appeared on 8th of august

Exactly the same green line is affecting many ppl after the software update
