Hello all,

Some of you guys may have read my previous post about the green line on my Galaxy S22+. As suggested by the Samsung moderator, I went to the Samsung service center. Without even the checking they told me to replace the screen and it will cost RM811.

I ask them could it be a software issue? But no, they confirmed it was screen issue and need replacement without even checking which means it is a known issue.

The problem is now, the screen price is very expensive and many people are facing the same issue as me with their galaxies. We didn't break the phone or anything but the green line just appears out of nowhere. Now need to pay RM800+ in unjustifiable for me since it was their display which was faulty.

then what? you don't have other choice but pay for it, any electronics things can break in 2 - 3 years of usage and samsung isn't lying because your S22+ problem appear outside warranty period, like warranty is to make sure such green line issue won't appear during warranty period but there's no lifetime warranty from samsung

you can't expect your phone screen to last forever

Nah u mistaken for the flagship price tag, my brother iPhone 12 Pro screen still as good as day 1. Only facing this issues is Samsung with their underwhelming display. It happens to all their phone, but I rarely sees Apple users complaining about the screen issues. With this terrible customer service they are not going anywhere.
On YouTube https://youtu.be/Z7iBFklVU_I?feature=shared you can see it was proven, they're terrible.

May be they knew it would've lasted in the warranty period. My screen going for the 2nd line right now and it's red. Very cool, thank you Samsung

I changed my S22 Plus screen at a Samsung service center in August 2023 due to another screen problem. Now, just over a year later, this phone is experiencing a green line issue.

Thank god I haven't changed mine. Their's SD 8gen1 has low yield causing overheat and damaged the screen, unlike the SD 8gen1 that was fabricate by TSMC.

I think better change to other brand like vivo. At least cheaper.
