Galaxy S
When I get back to use my phone and open it, there is a vertical green line. Is it possible that the issue is because of the software update or current software?

Lol this is a common issue right now for s20, i also have s20 plus and it has 2 lines, never buy from samsung again, having them fix your screen will cost you and buying a new phone other than samsung is the way to go

Only way is to buy a new phone, but don't stop buying samsung producs, just make sure that there's no related issues to that phone. And do some research (if you buy the phone you wanted) to avoid any issues
