your phone heated up enough during that update, then. green lines aren't necessarily caused by updates—extreme internal heat is a major factor of it. Snapdragon 888s and Exynos 2100s were known for their heating issues, and the heat from them could damage the screen flex cable (or the screen itself).
advice is to put it in a cool, open environment with good airflow—or simply put an electric fan on it while updating
Not a heavy user, usually photos, call, txt, browsing. Just now my phone wasn't hot naman but nagulat ako biglang lumabas ung greenline., kainis. Not sure kung ipapagawa ko pa kc 2nd time na to, baka lumipat na q sa iba. Medyo nkakaramdam na q ng pagsisisi.
